This is the Symptoms of Inguinal Hernia,

* A small swelling in one or both sides of the groin that may increase in size and disappear when lying down, males can present as a swelling or enlargement of the scrotum;
* Discomfort or pain due to tension when lifting weights or exercise physical.
* Feeling of weakness or pressure in the groin;
* Burning, bubbling, swelling or pain.

Choked and incarcerated inguinal hernias

The hernia is incarcerated hernia that hangs in the groin or the scrotum and can not be located in the abdomen. Incarcerated hernia is characterized by swelling and can lead to a strangulated hernia, in which the blood supply to the small intestine is compromised. Strangulated hernia is a serious condition and requires immediate medical attention. Symptoms of a strangulated hernia include:

* Extreme weakness or tingling in the area of the bulge,
* Sudden pain that worsens in a short period of time,
* Fever,
* Increased heart rate.

If untreated, the nausea, vomiting and severe infections may occur. If surgery is not performed immediately, can be lethal. Must also be removed a portion of intestine.
